The Black-throated Sparrow is a year-around resident of Southern Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico, heading as far north as Oregon for summer breeding. Generally stays west of the Rockies.  The image above captured at Canoa Ranch, just south of Green Valley, AZ, March 2017.   All  images below were captured in Sabino Canyon in February of 2016.
